Why sing (and dance) together?
Singing develops your toddler's language and listening skills and promotes auditory memory. Singing a familiar song can help calm or ease a temper tantrum. Have patience; it may take a few months to learn just one verse.
Be sure to use gestures (point to the body part) as you sing the words to help you child's understanding
Language exposure
We've included songs in multiple languages here as adding a secondary language can benefit your child's reasoning. Research has shown that both bilingual children and children exposed to another language were better able to understand another person's perspective later on in life so try one of these below to add in some variety to your song time!
